Should we do the unthinkable?

For arguments sake they end up with pick 6. Should we consider trading our pick 2 for their picks 6 AND pick 24?

For a guy that made a song and dance about downgrading pick 8 to 13 that's pretty funny. ;D

Haha, what a difference a year makes

Never, ever, EVER trade the no. 1 pick.

So if the weagles came to us and said,
"Boys you're really struggling, we'd like to help. You can have Kerr, Fletcher and Embley, we'll take your 1st pick"
We'd say go away you horrible little bozo's

Who's Embley?
The 2006 Norm Smith medalist.

Norm..??

I'm not against trading our first pick, but it would have to be a pretty sweet deal to consider
I'm not saying we look for trades but if a very good deal presents itself then why not look at it?
Of course it needs to be assessed as to who we would likely pick up in both situations and weigh them against each other

I'm not in a great position to speculate as to who we would get for picks 6,24 as opposed to 2, it would be interesting to here others thoughts on it?
In saying all this it probably won't happen anyways

I think, if Carlton get two in the top 4, then they are in a great position to trade their second pick for a player and later first round pick
or for a later first round and a second round pick

Never say never
