Zipper agree that Patto showed some nice efforts in the ruck and i too hope he comes on there as he is not a Key Fwd therefore our  future ruck options depends upon Adam making the grade and kicking on.

Personally i am not holding my breath with regard to Angus Graham, i still havent seen very much at all to get excited about in regard to him. (has he learnt how to kick yet, his lack of skill kicking a footy last pre season is still burnt in my mind)

Who knows may be worth looking at another young ruckman as well as one of our 8 new players.

Patto will be OK Craigy - he's a big boy taking a little xtra time, but his skills are improving an his footy brain is even better. Watch him a bit closer sunshine!

if patto is going to be a ruckman well its just another stuff up. i can think of a few who will be better ruckmen and taken with later picks.
pattison was drafted as a chf if he fails to make it there it will be a huge waste of a first round pick.

You'd reckon us and the RFC will have no idea on KK until late in the ND.  If somebody they rate falls through deep then KK is in trouble.  If they feel the  ND cupboard is bare by last pick then KK might not be the silliest thing to consider.  It's all "what ifs" and hot air until then.

I agree with you Hopper, and would prefer this however I know for a fact that we have made a commitment to him. ;)
Other interest for Kingsley is coming from North Melbourne and Essendon. If we can get him we will. I am not in favour of picking him up however if we do then I hope it's only a one year deal.

Not a fan of Kingsley but those four names are probably the best argument put forward for taking him. While a couple have potential, none have shown they can be an agressive go to forward yet.
Has Kingsley shown that he can be that at any stage in his career?

I disagree Craig. I reckon he has the makings of a decent CHF. Once he bulks up a bit more, he can play a bullocking CHF's role with the ability to take a contested mark. Unless Richo takes it between 45-60m out, the ball just rebounds out of our forward line (as it has done for many years). Whoever we decide to plonk at FF in the future will benefit greatly from Patto's work at CHF - a bit like Disco did when Cloke played at CHF. ;)

Did anybody catch the Saints V Cats replay from 05 on Fox sports3 last night?
I just had a look at it in a very quick way, fast forwarding on +6 till I saw KK an in just a quick summary ,he played on Fisher ,mainly at FF but did push up the ground a bit,I think kicked 4 goals, took some good marks not just on the lead but 2 beautys on a one on one contest but what surprised me most was his team play which was good.
Not saying in anyway we should pick him up but just letting his fans know he was very impressive against a very good opponent.

KK will be drastically improved when playing away from the cattery. Off field issues. He will improve, you can put the house and car on that one ;)

I recall that when I watched (stuck amongst the Cat's rank and file) the Tiges defeat the Cats on their home turf in May this year, that KK played on Ray Hall and he was given a right royal drubbing especially after half time.

Ray's total possessions for that Match - 8! His pressure on KK was fantastic and KK folded... not belittling Ray, but how does/would KK perform on a quality back man? :P

It was reported in realfooty.com that we will only look at KK if the kids left for the latter picks are no good. We'll have to wait and see then. Unless GM gives us more insight on Tuesday night?

Good Work CC might have a squiz.

I'd like to see what all the squabbling is about.
Just wondering if you caught the game Craig,an if you did, how good were Pollys marks going back with flight ?an how was the ripper over the top of the pack mark he took in the pressure cooker 3rd qtr :clap

I wonder what happens if a player training with us, injures himself (goodness forbid) while during training.... would he be insured by us? self insured? Or would that be the former club that he is insured by or is it as soon as you are delisted you are no longer under that club or would it be stipulated in the contract for that player....

so many questions...

hmmm....

yes I am a little bored....
