Sick of the media perception of our club

had a quiet chuckle watching the news. "Richmond have endured their worst week in years". Umm apart from a great win, I would safely assume that an incident a few weeks ago where one of our players nearly died, would qualify more for the 'worst week in years' title ::)

So this week......

1) Did we have to shake tins to save the club financially?

2) Did we miss out on the finals by finishing 9th...again?

3) Did Cloke, Raines, and Taylor ditch us for the scum from Victoria Park?

4) Did we lose a flag to the Blues?

5) Did we see Richo do his knee on the boundary of the SCG?

6) Did we have to endure a 29 hour bus trip to the Gabba to see our side destroyed by the Lions?

7) Did we lose a sponsorship because a stupid player has not heard of Cabcharge?

8) Did we lose a game we week our club hero and one and only favourite son died?

If the answer is no, the week was not too bad.

Yeah spot on. Look what is happening at Melbourne yet all is Rosy and making positive change to save the future of the club

Richmond make one change, announced early because of a media leak, and the Tigers are in Turmoil

Geez even the journo's can now read Wallace's mind it is that obvious. What a joke.

It's obviously a massive beat up but maybe there's an upside.

First we're under massive scrutiny for how we follow up. Pressure is good. And secondly if we can pull off a coup in off field personnel we'll get a bit of a buzz around the joint.

The harder they go for us now the harder they'll have to suck up if we kick on.

So how many of us PRE's were on these busses. I blame my crook back on Anset - they had just gone bust, therefore the need to bus it to the GABBA.

I dislike a lot of what the so called media put out....

The majority of the copy is written by pretentious snot snosed gits wanting to get their own name up in lights rather than the story.

eg : Hutchy, Jones, Maher, Doran, Robbo and many other so called reporters drooling over the latest ground breaking news worthy incident such as Fev pissing on a wall for Gods sake...

Too bad about the Human rights abuses in China...Oh thats right they've got the olymipcs so its all ok...So lets not report on that...

SO in short I don't give a Rats Tossbag ( thanks Malcolm.. ) about what the media say about RFC..Its all tommorrows or next weeks or next months soil erosion coverage product..

*sigh*...I shall go take my valium and have a glass or three of Red..
