Simmo's ankle - rehab

Best wishes for Simmo.

I believe he is our "most valuable player", as shown last year with him missing. We need him at 100% ready and firing for round 1.

Just my thoughts.
Yep I reckon you're expressing what others feel as well Waiting.
Hope "Simmo" comes back fully fit, confident and rearing to go.
Same to all our players

Apparently Brown was flying this time last year.

but then he got the hotspot after the pies practice match which was only supposed to be a 1-2 week thing ::)

Ankles are never the same after serious ligament damage. Even with surgery there is still an element of weakness about the ankle.
Agree with that.I had years of physio after a sever ligament strain and it never got right.Too much scar tissue.

The 92 pots every third day at the Donny Inn did not help Bevo.

My physio told me it would help.

Perhaps in hindsight I was poorly advised.

You might have got the the physiotherapist mixed up with the anaesthetist by the sounds of it ;D
Bet it (the ankle) was painfree though, at least every 3rd day.

Good to see he is doing OK by all reports.

We need to work on his tapwork. Lacks a bit in this area. Has two hits the one straight down to his left and the over the shoulder. Do we have a ruck coach?

BTW the Saints appointed Simon Madden today, very smart move. Great get as a ruck coach. And for what it is worth I like the way the Saints are heading. Had a very underrated Summer. Don't discount them yet for top 4 in 2008.

Bottom 4 is more likely IMO.

Still after last years turn ups how could you pick it?

Going to be an even comp next year..
