Reading that, i'm disgusted. I see you've posted close to 6000 messages on here, i sincerely hope that the other 5999 were actually useful comments, rather than the rubbish you just said. I dont care if its true or not, I don't want to read this kind of thing in regard to my team, especially by someone who *should* be an emphatic supporter of the club. I guess the phrase "you are not your postcount" rings true here...

You want to comment on the state of the club, you can do it in the countless other topics that exist on here. To create a new topic, just to say what you did...what a disgrace.

Just stating facts and asking if we are actually the best at anything. So far we have established we are the best at losing, the best at being the worst, and the best at being humiliated.

If being an emphatic supporter is blindly following and supporting without question the RFC as they swagger from one disaster to another then no, I am not an emphatic supporter.

As for the level of mediocrity of the previous 5,999 posts, that is for others to decide. I do know that previously any topics I have started didn't rate 10 replies so I might at least be improving.

Now where's that sports quiz thread when you need it.

You are right SkyBlow in saying that JB's 5999 other posts were rubbish ;D but unfortunately in this case he has hit the nail on the head. I have been a part of this site for 3 years and have seen new posters come on and berate people for being negative but, let's be honest, how long can you put up with an insipid, pathetic team putting up disgraceful performances on and off the field like ours has, without venting and speaking your mind?

We are 'best' at spindoctoring to our fans.After all every season comes with a membership leaflet with glossy quotes such 'hungry' 'focussed' 'improving''fitter than ever'and 'ready to take the next step.'
Another thing,we are best by the length of the nullabour at stirring emotions on our past glories.
How many times have we read about the feats of the 60s and 70s 'eat em alive' tigers?

How ironic when we compare them to todays lot eh?

Would it be at all possible to wait until after at least a few games, if not halfway through the season, before judging how bad (or good) we are. FFS, it was round 1. Most  teams put in a shocker or two each season, hopefully that was ours for the year. If we play like that for the majority of the season, then yes, we should go on about how bad we are, but as I said, it's round 1!!!

You're right. Perhaps next years membership brochure could simply say we're slow, old, under-developed, had a crap off season and our players have stagnated. How many membership do you reckon that would sell?

You're right. Perhaps next years membership brochure could simply say we're slow, old, under-developed, had a crap off season and our players have stagnated. How many membership do you reckon that would sell?

I'm not sure, jayfox, ive lasted at least 10 years (the point where i actually started *supporting* the club, as opposed to just owning a richmond scarf) without feeling the need to have a serious whinge. But, mind you, i reckon im more patient than the average person...and possibly slightly more optimistic. Its a terrible fault of mine

Dont get me wrong, i was there on friday and i spent the last quarter with my head in my hands...and its quite possible i overreacted with my first impression of jb's comments. I just felt it was unneccesary, what with every other topic also bagging out the Tigers. that was all.

Sad thing is JB you are not far wrong there my man, but the supporters are excused for being so feral as far as i am concerned especially when they cough up their hard earned in the hundreds and thousands for memberships and get results and efforts like that.

I wholeheartedly agree we have the worst list, worst list management, worst recruiters, worst value for money and worst at facing facts but as at most clubs the Tigers also have a plethora of fansthat also struggle to face up to reality, sensibility, logic and common sense in regard to the side and the off field running of the club, and believe every little bit of dribble they are fed by the clubs spin doctors in fact i cannot listen to a word that comes from Millers mouth geez he is full of *smile* and wind.
