???What is it with our slow starts leading us into catch-up football territory every time?I would love us to have a 5 goal lead at quarter time for a change.Any thoughts?

Hawks were killing us all over the park.

So far this season we have only won 1 first quarter and that was against Freo.

I don't thick today was really a slow start. I just think the hawks were playing really good footy early on(except goal kicking) and we just couldn't get it out of their defence after they kick a behind(an then another and then another behind :hihi)

However, credit must be given to the boys as they put their heads down and battled away.

Despite us losing, I think the team will take away alot from this match. We certainly showed we can make it with the best.

Hawthorn has been smashing teams and we were in the match until the last 5 minutes.

Disappointed with the loss, but happy with the effort against a quality team. Is this the foundation for a successful season?

One would have to consider we are a great chance against St Kilda this week.

IMO the last few slow starts wave had we have been Flat, however today i just think we were completely out played in the first 1/4

opposition get 3-4 goals in front and its "*smile* we better do something" but its catch up all game
