PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Just thought I'd pass on a few snippets I've heard that might be of interest to those who love to read a bit of Tiger news. Maybe others have a bit to add?

Ty impressed with his work ethic and attitude training at Punt Road while getting himself back from his knee reco. He is a very extroverted character, likened to Jack Riewoldt. Will be a good club person with a good head on his shoulders. He's a very mobile ruckman likened to Dean Cox in the way he handles the ball and gains possession. He's got a lot of grunt and will have other ruckmen frightened to jump against him. Able to play forward. Is a very strong mark. Great athletic ability. Good at laying crunching tackles. Needs to work on endurance as evidenced by a low beep test.

Cogs is flying and 100% on track. I hope he doesn't overdo it in his keenness to pay back the RFC and supporters by contributing on the field next season but things are going really well at this stage.

Kayne Pettifer is recovering really well from his knee reco and is on track to play in 2009.

Jacko has lost several kgs and is on fire fitness wise being primed for a midfield role. Has been working hard ever since the season ended. Great attitude and will to succeed. Good onya Dan.

Jacko and Matty White blitzed a run around Princess Park recently. It's great to see these kids leading the way at training. 10.03 is apparently a pretty slick time. Judd who? ;D
