Our skill level has once again gone nowhere. Just unbelievable how players can't hit a target 20mts away. I look at the eagles and salvitate at their disposal skills.

Our midfield is shot. Shane Tuck in particular lacks polish and penetration as a midfielder.

Yep, in hindsight I reckon we should have traded him back to hawthorn. He's a hard at it type, but doesn't hurt the opposition when he's got the ball. Same as Hyde & Johnson.

BINGO.

No matter how little we miss the finals by this season, we need some major changes that might involve some major players at years end.

I don't believe Wallace would do that. The temptation to top up and squeeze into the finals the following year would be too great. He would keep that ilk of player because he would believe that trading them for longer term prospects would cost him that opportunity. More likely he'd keep them and recruit another Kent Kingsley.

How many pre-season sessions did out coach miss?

Can someone refresh my memory?

Oh that's right we've got Kingy & Choco taking command in TW's absence.

It's the 1%'s that all ad up.

IMO kingsley instead of cloke was a major stuff up. Cloke is a good strong tall body who can only improve. Kingsley is going nowhere.

The heat is well and truely on both Messers Miller & Wallace.

Give me a break Jitb, cloke is a dud and always will be, what did he really do seriously, he will get smashed when he faces taller ruckman.

Had Simmo played he would of embarrassed him.

Kingsley hasn't palyed a game as yet, i wasn't for him being picked but now we have him lets give him a chance.

Exactly, before yesterday about 80% would of rather Kent than Cloke, Cameron Cloke had one goodish game, wow good on him, but Kent hasnt played yet.

The question here is WHO HAS MORE POTENTIAL FOR IMPROVEMENT. Not who is the better choice. Cloke has more upside than downside. Kinglsey wont be improving any more.

Cloke is still young enough to improve and do a job for us....Kingsley has taken the club back to the halcion days of Frawley....recruiting has beens like Paul Hudson, Adam Houlihan and the likes......

Would rather take either of the Clokes (Cameron and Jason) way before your Kingsleys

Rodan was a hack too according to our illustrious leader, but look what a change of environment did for him.

Kingsley is just another recruiting coup for the illustrious Greg Miller!!!!!!!

I think CC can help us out with this stat.... ;D

In all seriosness, he better start coaching, 2011 is a long, long way away!

Same players, same coaching stuff ups. Bring back northey!!! Ahh what i would do for a M.Gale, C.Bond, P.Broderick, B.Gale, M.Knights, S.Turner and most of all a TONY FREE!!! Captain with HEART, BALLS and LEADERSHIP!!!

Agree re Tuck. He is going backwards IMO. Terrible disposal.
The thing that really frightens me is our no1 draft pick is getting the yips with the footy as well. Deledio's kicking is not the quality it should be for a player of his ilk. He kicked a couple of absolute clangers yesterday.

What was sorely evident yesterday though is the lack of forward running in our team.

FFS stop chipping the ball backwards!!!!

I want our guys to take teams on and break the lines. The only way we can do that is if we run in numbers and support the ball carrier.
Unfortunately too many in our team won't do that hard running to create options for the team mate hence the reason we look so stationary with our ball movement.

I am convinced our team has the laziest footballers in the competition.
They are a bunch of spectators who only seem to get interested when they've got the ball. Wallace can't seem to get them to do the hard team based things.

Remember Freo last year - for the first half of the season, chipped it around in the back half, looked like sh!t and had the results to match. Suddenly, half-way through the season, something clicked in the players, they started playing direct footy and lo and behold Pavlich kicked 70 something and they made a prelim final! Have patience, we'll get our acts together once they realise this style is going nowhere, and then watch out!

The problem is Freo have the cattle to execute a game plan. We don't.

On the ninemsn site, Wallace and Richo lament the overuse of the footy in the second half. It's not as if our coach is actually telling the players to overuse the footy - in fact the opposite! It seems as if the players are just not confident enough yet to carry out the game plan that Wallace has concocted. Give them time, and they will carry it out! If they can't by the end of this season, then players should go. Until then, lets get right behind them and support them!

Those players who dont follow instructions should be booted out.....permanently.
