I'm a realist so i may upset a few here. Our chances to make the final as so slim i wouldnt be a betting man(nor am i) , nor do i think we can win.
Dont take me wrong. I would love us to nail those Cats and Thompson as well and put a din in their final chances for Campbo's last game...
So onto my topic in the first place. So after this weeks game what will we do?
Me , thinking about how close we came, that we could have been playing finals fotball and given some of our kids a taste of it and give it a shake is in one word SHATTERING. BUT we have unearthed soem good kids, a coach who seems to serious to where we are at and where we want to go. He knows whats required to take the next few steps to be a succesful club and play finals and ultimately the prize of all- a premiership.
Once the final siren goes, win, lose or draw the expectation of 2006 will hit home. I will be so figety waiting for the coming year to start. I will watching in earnest the trade period, the draft(all ones) and see who we will pick up and be finalising my best list for the first round 2006 as i found myself doing this year before the first game of 2005 came around.
What will i do with my spare time? Exercise more.....take the kids out during the days......spend time reading... maybe even watch some games........
Who will i support?
Will it be an interstate side, say a Swans or a Melbourne based side? Dont know who that will be until the last game on Sunday.
What will we all be doing?
Just thought i start a different thread as this year is rapping up for the Tigers.
My dream for this year is over so i will be dreaming of what ifs and of 2006.
