Thought he was pretty good for a first game back from a knee reco. Got plenty of it and used it pretty well. Something we've been sadly lacking. For all of Petts weaknesses, I don't think it would have been fair to have wished for much more in this game. As a direct replacement for Edwards, you'd have to say it was an upgrade - short term at least.
He should have a crack at an NFL career. Plenty of padding and with the hang time his kicks get...
Admittedly he did a few good things, he just takes too long to see his teammate and get the ball to him.

I wouldnt say he deserves another shot at a career, however throw him in for 4 weeks, if we're going to get rid of most of our 30 year olds at the end of this year then I could see him playing a role if he can learn to play team footy and learn from last year. Id love to see him lay at least 4 tackles this week against the bombers.
