So who goes?

i know jacko is in most peoples gun sights but i hope he is persevered with. this kid has shown glimpses of what could be and its all good.

Agree, I thought he showed something in his first game but got dropped pretty soon after. Worth preserving with I think.

Chaffey - Delisted
Humm - Delisted
Moore - Delisted
Roach - Delisted
Stafford - Retired
Rodan - Delisted (should have been delisted when asked for 2 years, would still delist despite having a year to run on contract, waste of a space on the list. Get a kid on, we are not paying the full salary cap anyway.)

The above are 5 who should definitely go, 6 if RFC has the balls to get rid of Rodan.

Krakouer - Trade, doubt would get much interest though.

I look at it with a view that, will any of the players being let go in the future be looked at as a mistake. With the above players I have no doubts.
Their is obviously alot of players who will be line ball that I haven't mentioned, we all know who they are. Though from a team structure & depending who else gets the bullet some will stay, some will go.

Is that really you CLAW. Yes I agree with Jacko. He was a later starter and probably a bit of a late developer because of that, but as you say has shown a bit which may want perservering with.

I actually heard that Wallace has a high opinion of him. ;)

Yet again you continue to confound.
You pump up Jackson's tyres(who's shown very little), yet have grave doubts about a player like Schulz, a KPP who shows oodles more ability than Jackson. :spin
IMPO I would keep Jackson for another year but I would not be surprised one iota if he's delisted. His disposal is appalling.

some players take  abit of extra time. Would be really surprised if harts didn't make it. Look at raines, no one was expecting him to do what he's done this year, with jacko and roach i hope  if we drop em off the list we at least rookie them.By rookie-ng them we would create some spaces on the list and with the long term injury list we will still have , we could bring them straight back on the list. There for a win win situation.

Agree with everything you just said. Hartigan was in great form at the start of this year and just before he got injured he looked like coming back to the seniors. We need a tough, ballsy player who team members can hold thier head up high around. I think Hartigan could be that player.

Delist/retire - Stafford, Chaffey, Moore, Humm, Knobel, Rodan (although contract will probably prevent this). I also agree that Jackson may be a concern.
Potential trades (although for little benefit) - Krakouer, Tivendale, Hall, Gaspar (yes, I'd straight swap Mal Michael for him in a heartbeat) and then anyone else who we might get some value for.

Just my 5c worth.

Knobel wont go will stay on as as 2nd or 3rd ruckman.
I hope Harts doesnt go, I can see him holding Newmans fort til he gets back!!!

dont worry old tiger i have concerns about jackson as well. but at this point in time i would think it prudent to perservere with both for one more yr at least. at 21 next yr jacko needs to make the next step or be delisted.
ive only made comment on schulz because so many seem to think hes going to be the next big thing and i just cant see it. he has deficiencies and most seem to ignore them.

Very harsh judgement on Tuck there Lambsy. There are plenty in front of him that can take the mantle of Clanger King. At least when Tuck has the ball, my cringe meter takes a rest.

aint the the *smile*$#@ truth

:rofl

if we delist jackson then our list must be a lot better than it looks

Jacko is an underused smart young big bodied fast midfielder who can play front and back

hmmmm...better keep

if we can't develop his skill deficiency then let's just stop wasting everyone's time and shut down the club

He's had 3 years now, so he must be touch and go whether he stays on the list.

i've been of the opinion that jacko hasn't been getting a fair go. same for harts for that matter
