Well obvisouly every year, the newly released fixture leaves a lot of disgruntled supporters dreading the upcoming season. So why not come up with ways to make it fairer. Interested to hear your opinions. So while i was at the 'G' today, watching Englands very boring batting, i thought up of a couple of solutions.
1) 4 points for a home win. 5 points for an away win. With some teams travelling more than others, it gives them more incentive to give out and achieve the upper hand over other teams.
2) Play every team once as we do, but instead of randomly selecting the 7 teams to play twice, the top 8 and the bottom 8 from the previous years ladder, play out each other for the second time.
One con i guess to this solution would be that the 9&10 teams may be given an unfair advantage over the 7&8 teams, for obvious reasons.
Would like to hear you thoughts.
