PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

There have been a few comments on here recently that I've wondered about, or been asked about, so I contacted Gary March for some clarification. I thank him for his immediate reply and willingness to keep PREnders informed.

1-A couple of people have claimed Jade has no say in team selection. That's not correct. The coaching panel as a whole select the team each week.

2-In response to stadium deals and memberships. The greatest benefit to clubs is through membership as 100% of income goes to the club. We do not get any revenue on game day from members as we have already received that through membership. Why the stadium deal is important to the Tigers is that we still have one of the highest non-member attendances so we need to get a bigger share of that. We would still prefer everyone to join as members.

3-Gary isn't aware of what was claimed on TFS last night but Joel has not retired as yet, and Gary expects that he will play again this year. If he did retire he would be afforded a farewell game definitely.

4-More for the Off-Field board but I was asked if I could find out who the directors up for renewal are. Answer=Anthony Mithen, Rob Dalton and Maurice o'Shannassy.
