Some old names!

Not blowing my own trumpet,but i had a future with Woodville as Blighty told me,but the problem was i had to travel by bus on a Friday night at Midnight from Broken Hill to Adelaide which took 7 hours & then play at 11:30 that morning.

Unfortunately things broke down over travel arrangements & my Woodville career was over. :hihi No regrets at all though.

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work out dave. But as you have no regrets then you seem fine with it. I'd probably still be bleeding now if it were me. :hihi

All's good mate, I actually filled in for my local club's B grade team on the weekend & let me tell you tim i've been doing the Cliff Young shuffle since. :old :hihi

Truth be told Tim, Dave was a very highly regarded chf. Played in a million A grade premierships locally. He could have and should have gone on with it. But thems the breaks. too busy chasing sheilas and drinking with his mates
Dave was an All Australian all round sportsman in most sports lucky bastard
Have high hopes for his boy,gotta get him f/sed, hmmm
