I love Richo - absolutely adore the big lug - but he's probably not necessarily somebody you'd dub Mr Leadership.
But he's the closest we have...
As much as the mere suggestion of recruiting recycled players tends to have many PREnders frothing at the gob, could we not perhaps look at going all out this year to grab a couple of real leaders in trade week or the PSD?
I equate some of our list to CDs - my collection was worth a hell of a lot more five years ago than it is now... so why not trade them and maybe even fiddle with the odd draft pick to get some genuine, mid-20s leaders into Tigerland?
Assuming we could convince them, of course...
We can't let our raft of mostly promising young'uns fall foul of the seeming Punt Road malaise that has infected many before them - apparent abject apathy. Perhaps some genuine look-up-to-able leadership is the solution?
