For those Tiges overseas, and those without TV or radio access, I have managed to keep http://liveplay.championdata.com/ going. It's my little proof of concept applet and will give you a running ticker of the game in real time. Just be sure to visit once the game has started.

Enjoy.

That is just fantastic and much better than anything the AFL offer for following the game OS. Gives a great insight into how fast the game is and what is required to do decent stats. Only thing missing is where the ball is.

Interesting how much quicker the entries appear to roll over when Carlton have the ball.

I'm sitting behind a corporate firewall so I could get anything but a blank black box

Thanks Fudge, that was brilliant!
;)

A great idea and superbly executed - I hope this will be available on a regular basis..?

It was the closest thing to watching a tige's game in 2 years.
(NZ is a great spot but they wouldn't know a good game when it hit them in the face over here.)

What a fantastic way to start the season.

Come on Tigers!!!

What does the number after each entry represent? It looks like a sequential number related to each player.
As I wrote this on a whim, the numbers are dreamteam points for the competion I play with my buddies. Just basic points for stats.

Thanks Fudge, you would n'tbelieve how hard it is to get good info on the game when you are o/s. How I hate afl.com

Btw do you know anywhere that shows stats like clearances per play etc. Realfooty used to but they don't anymore.
