Sorry But Season Over

Season's not finished yet but will have to win one we're not expected to (Sydney? West Coast?) to fix the damage.

Agree the season isn't over just yet it has 22 rounds in it, but you can can take this to the bank, the Tigers finals hopes have been hit by a semi-trailer, the season is over!

Every year i go into the season with high expectations of making the finals and by seasons end am always dissapointed. This year i took a good look at the list and said no chance of finals, might win 8-10 games so while im pissed of about how we played today i am happy about the season so far especially with the progress of some of the kids.

Do people really want us to make the finals this year?Whats the point?A bottom 4 finish finish will help us immensely and along with those draft picks and hopefully continued development of the youngsters blooded this year we will be in a much stronger position for the next 2 years.

Today certainly wasn't pretty and was left with a mixture of "no surprises here" and "...what the hell happened?" :frustration

Upside...every one's raving about this years draft and how deep the talent goes.

So, if we finish a little lower down the the ladder than we hoped, we will pick up some talented kids.

I feel confident in the "Brains Trust" of today that they'll get the best they can outta the draft.

:help

mate, why bottom out in the top 4, how could you want that.

i want to win every game, we bottomed out and got fiona and otto _ WOW_

Make no mistake their season is over the rest is just trip away planning and locker clearing preparation. These duds again built up the ferals hopes as they have done so often in the past only to rip their hearts out yet again. Same hacks letting them down when it really counts.

I agree, you should change your nick. Those are not the words of a clown, they are the words of a realistic supporter. Optimism tempered with some common sense and every word is absolutely spot on.

Agree totally - I thought this was like year 2 of a 5 year plan. Today in Lance Franklin we saw the value of a quality young key position forward. We need to find one, and the best way of doing it is a bottom four finish. I have no interest returning to our tradition spot of finishing 9th, nor do I want to just scrape in to be bundled out in the first week. We can leave that to North Melbourne. First get the cattle and then think about finals - returning back to mid-table hell so early in our development is the worst thing that can happen to Richmond
