It is obvious we have gone for speed in '06. Let's hope the "speedsters" have the footy smarts and skill to go with it. So far it looks good.
Last night I watched the replay of Crows v. Tigers at the Adelaide ground in 2004. Apart from the lack of game plan, the obvious lack of pace was just so evident. Add to this, btw, some pretty hopeless players, and lack of fitness. Skill was also missing in large lumps. What a difference a year makes, mixed with a coach who has some idea on how the game should be played, and gets the players fit and skilled.
For 2006, it looks like "catch me if you can."
