spirit

The spirit was there, we just weren't equipped to compete on equal terms, skill-wise or physically. It was a finals-type game and we were simply not up to it.

1 quarter of spirit and 3 quarters of crap, and on top of that we have Wallace shooting off his mouth in the media how we were going to play the game.

the JD I'm drinking now has more spirit then the whole club ATM.

Don't think fitness is the issue. Watching today, you could just see all the extra running they have to do to fix their mistakes. Seriously, someone kicks it, turns it over, then has to run twice as hard to try and mop up the spill. duplicate that all over the ground, and of course they won't look fit.

What about all those times when the players are streaming into attack and some innocous turnover means they have to double back and try to sprint to pick up their man. no wonder they look tired all the time.

Rubbish - we have no spirit - we are a soulless club and organisation and until we get some we will go nowhere

from where i stood today the spirit was fine from most of our players.

the reason we lost was because of sub-standard kicking skills.
it stood out like dogs balls, really, really big dogs balls.

the standard in class betwen the kicking skills was like the grand canyon,it was embarrassing.

how hard is it to recruit players who can kick?,the bulldogs have afl standard kicking skills and we have blokes that look like drunken reserves players.
it really is embarrassing.

I understand. It's less painful to accuse the players of not trying or caring than it is to acknowledge they had a crack and weren't good enough.

wrong again - we don't have a crack and we are not good enough. We have the double whammy and it's why we are a joke
