Squad for Friday Night -v- Brisbane

I'm of the opinion that Wallace is still trying figure out which player to go with, Browne or Graham. i hope he chooses Browne, in his short time Browne has come along pretty quickly but is still very young, but has the build already. Graham has the build but seems to lack the footy smarts.

It will be interesting to see how much game time is given to each.

my view for what its worth, given we now have some depth, and given the form of the last half of last year, players now cannot come to the club and expect to be a walk in for rd 1 (unless your a cousins), therefore don't expect Thomson to play. I would draw the line with the bottom 2 on the list missing out, and I think that means Polo is first reserve in case anyone gets injured (I personally hoped he would play though).

Good to see Browne bet Nataini so easily - could be a good long term prospect.

The big ranga Browne must have put in a sterling performance at Shep. Keen to see him in the flesh..shouldn't be hard to miss.

JON - has played in just the one praccie game all pre-season...not good signs surely??

Browne really rose to the occasion, we thought he was very impressive in the limited game time he had in Shepp. He is obviously a lot less fit than the other players, but so far so good. He's a guy with real potential; throws his weight around, was not intimidated by either King nor Gardiner for the Aints and managed at least two good tackles that i saw where he rode (legally) smaller Aints players into the ground and put some hurt on them which was great to see.

I'm glad the selectors notices what he did and have rewarded him with another go at this level.

It's good to see a strong line up for the last NAB Cup game with a few younger guys. I hope that we play well and practice a game style that we want to play in round 1!

on the 11.40 flight this morning for a week on the gold coast. Mrs KFC has given me her blessing to go. Happy days indeed.

I'd be surprised if you'd leave out young fringe players with two weeks to go to give them a rest.

You were on the money ToO. Polo and Thomson playing now for Coburg.
