I never liked the way Grant Thomas came across on TV in his interviews - I also thought he was not a top line coach and that he was the reason the Saints could not take that extra step to play in a Grand Final or win a Premiership.
Going on the Saints record so far in 2007 - I am beginning to think he may not have been the poor coach I believed him to be.
Melbourne and Richmond's disasterous starts to the 2007 have shielded the Saints from the spotlight of their fall from grace so far this season.
I pose this question to my learned PRE colleagues -
"Is St Kilda's poor start to 2007 the beginning of their window (of opportunity) closing to win a premiership, are they destined to go through the rebuilding cycle yet again, and has this been caused by the sacking of Grant Thomas by the St Kilda Board-of-Directors?"
