PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Reputation and perception are very important in football and Richmond traditionally has had a reputation of being a coaches' grave yard, which was hurt our staff recruitment in the past . But it was good to read in a Age today this line from an article mostly about the Dees-

Richmond is developing something approximating stability and finally has some prospect of becoming a place people are willing to work at.

Which shows that the relative stability of the last few years is changing the way are club is viewed in the football community.

Now the Miller/Plough era is hardly without fault, I'm not sure all the building blocks are in place on the playing list and I don't know I'd be rushing for a contract renewal as reported in the rumor page. But the club overall does seem to have got something right by establishing stability while gradually building up the professionalism of the club.
