I would love to see a stat on how much time 'regular' players have to dispose of the ball before getting pinged for holding the ball compared with 'special' players like Hird and Judd

there was one on friday, i think it was Foley or King who got turned around in a tackle, handballed but still got pinged, yet every week Judd is turned around 2 or 3 times and nothing is called !

They continue to say umpires don't take notice of which player it is in a decision but it continues to happen!!

Agree with you b4p, in a line-ball call those players will generally get the benefit. Umpires tend to reward ball players & I think Richo would've done a lot better out of the umpires if he didn't dispute decisions as much.

its not that, its benefit of the doubt. Judd, Kerr, etc get extra time to dispose because the umpire believes its their skill that gets them out of it. Someone else, well.....

I dont think they realize they do it, but at the Rich vs WC game the holding calls to us were no margin for error, while Judd and Kerr had a week to break their tackles.

Couldn't agree more Bow4pres---I have seen Judd turned not 360-but 720 and not get pinged. Hopefully as the Foley star rises he will be forwarded the same leniency!! Eat em alive!!

I agree with the seniment of this post.

However, if JUDD was turned 720 degrees, was he in a tackle or a barn dance?

He should be put down...and hurt!
