Who's the player that is at the start of most of our goals nowadays? I think it used to be Newman didn't it? I think it was the Glass at he eagles a year or so ago.

Anyone know who it is for all teams?

Not sure where to get that one for free now, I think you have to subscribe to Prowess.

No idea how you'd get this type of info Mac. Do Prowess even carry that as a stat? I think Champion Data are the only ones who do, but good luck get anything from them.

My guess without seeing stats would be Bowden.

Lids is being groomed for that role now.Did a pretty good job on the weekend. If casserly can get it together he should be another guy who'll be handy with 'distribution'.Being a long and accurate kick with a good head on your shoulders is the key.

We live in hope.

If you ask me nicely, I may be able to find out for you. But after two rounds of footy, I doubt the result would be interesting anyway.

As for the Newman reference, if you check where you sourced that info, you'll find that it was me in 2005 that provided that as a one off.

Fudge

PS. I work for Champion if you haven't figured that out yet.

Thanks Fudge...you're a Champion (HA! Look out! You'll cut yourself on wit THAT sharp!)

Yep.
Fudge'd be the only one who'd know that one on this site.

My recollection from 2005 were 3 players to be named.
1. Newman
2. Joel Bowden
3. Can't remember, but it may have been Knobel's hit outs.

No it was Cogs, Newman, Tuck in that order.

So far this season, the top score launchers for each club are:

ad - Hudson
br - Rischitelli
ca - Stevens
co - Heath Shaw
es - McVeigh
fr - Sandilands
ge - Wojcinski
ha - Mitchell
ka - Harvey
me - White
pa - Thurstans
ri - Joel Bowden
sk - Dal Santo
sy - Kirk
wb - Boyd
wc - Judd

Don't forget, it's only two rounds into the season what a presented above really doesn't mean much.

Thanks Fudge.
