Hi all. Amid all the doom and gloom around here, I thought a change of subject might lighten things up. This thread is for all the AFL trivia nuts/nerds like me. I was thinking of just having this thread to highlight upcoming milestones, interesting or unusual facts and unusual stats for the round just played or the upcoming round. It can be about players or teams, not just us. I'll be honest here. I'll usually get my bits of trivia from newspapers like the hun or inside football.
So to start off, let's see now. Ok. If carlton lose to collingwood this week, it will be the most consecutive games lost in a row ever by them. They currently have equalled a streak that was created in 1901-02.
Also, if the pies score more than 100 points against them, carlton will have equalled a streak for most consecutive games of having that amount kicked against a team, currently held by sydney in the 90's.
;D

Mods, not sure if this should on this board or not. Feel free to move to where you think it's appropriate.

Not many the past week or so.

Richmond's score of 20.17.137 is our highest ever in Perth, and our margin of 64 points is our greatest winning margin in Perth (mentioned on another thread I think)

Yes, not happy. But on the bright side, as someone said on radio, at least the pies are doing their bit to stop carlton getting another priority pick ;D

a late update on last weeks game.
25 goalkickers for the match, equal AFL record. 3rd time it's happened.
Also, the score of 130 points is the second highest scoring draw in afl history, topped only by the 132 ess/carl draw in 1993.
