To all the no voters, how would you know without interviewing and putting through stringent tests?

I am not particularly a fan other than I know a St.Kilda player who says his (Silvagni's)defensive diciplines are attributed to the improvement of the whole squads attitudes.

We need to interview and test everyone who falls under the title "potential AFL coach in waiting"

Im with you on this one bob.
Doing well at the saints and needs too be looked at.
Ross Lyons speaks pretty highly of him.

Seems a bit laid back for a senior coach perfect as an assitant for the backline or a development style coach.

Maybe but I'd say the same of Hinkley who's being talked about even more strongly.

Geez, I hope he’s improved from his stuttering/stammering and near incoherent days as a tv commentator.

Silvagni ? Meh. No thanks.

(His wife is welcome to join us though.)

I know of him from my old uni days and he was so simple even the Carlton supporting lecturers were forced to fail him several times.

played alongside him in the under 10s at Bulleen Templestowe (Go Bullants)....no thanks!!!!

The Blue and the Yellow. Did you go to Templestowe Primary School by any chance or were you the other side of Thompsons road.

Silvagni got a gig on his appeal to women on Channel 10 and just offered nothing that a football supporter couldnt see or know himself.

Assistant coach of our backline - definately worth a look.

Head coach - Big pass from Leysy.

Totally agree on first thoughts, but give him an interview, we ahgve to be as thorough as possible. His lack of experience would put him way behind the pack though.
