LOL MB.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Round one will come quicker than you expect.

If we didn't have a few people keeping it real this optimism could run rampant and completely out of control. If results didn't go to plan next year things would get really ugly.

Some days you’re the bug; some days you’re the windscreen.

CC is to blame for the massive drop in morale when the season started this year. His brighter than bright training reports had us lifting the Premiership Cup, the brownlow, the coleman and the pre-season trophy before the first game.

I dont mind the option of having a media officer ti talk instead of Terry only if it does not cost the club another wage. I dont want to waste money like that. Where is Anthony Mithen?

Disco. It’s like painting over the rust on your car. You know underneath that it’s the same old bomb but it’s nice to pretend for a while you have a new car.

The reality check of round 1 will come soon enough. Lets enjoy the 5 minutes of sunshine while it lasts.

Just crapping on Colonel, didn't really mean it either way. :)

That alright, if we get beaten by 10 goals in the first game then you will have to mod the follow tide of vitrol. All I will have to do is disconnect the internet for a while.

hey willo - no more :frustration :frustration :frustration

Sad about Peter Hogan. I remember driving down from Bendigo with my Father to watch Peter play his first practice match at Punt Road.

He was a fiery little bugger - didn't like some of the attention he got from some of his team mates and threw quite a few punches just in front of us, to let them know he wasn't a pushover.

.getting a media officer on board

Does anyone know what a media officer does and if he/she will actually front the media. Is Tony Greenberg still media manager? It's been mentioned in the past that Mithen's role on the board was to increase our media exposure.

We might as well have employed Marcel Marceau!!
Old Marcel didn't say that much when he was still with us, now he's gone he says even less, yeah good comparison DG ;D

No offence to Tony, but God I hated the way he'd come on to tiger club corner in the Frawley days and suggest everything was alright. Billy from Heidelberg made more sense than him.

I know what you mean, but when the club is going dud on him there is not much he can do in that role other than try to be positive.
