Seems we have a get Salopek to Tigerland thread every year.

There'll be a get Weller and Morrison from Brisabane thread popping up soon too.  You know that Morrison, he's Jonathon Brown's understudy so he must be a gun. And that Weller, he dominated against the tigers.

What about Ben Dixon?

He'd be a good foil for Richo up forward. Had a good game against us too.

Yet to see what's so good about Salopek.

Granted, as a junior he was up there, but his output at Port hasn't been anything to write home about imo.

I wouldn't want to give up too much to get him. Can smell a Clay Sampson with Salopek.....
Totally agree. Another example of a junior with a big reputation drafted early.
Promising everything and delivering little.
Has yet to earn any trade currency but port will price him like a top shelf must have item, and during the mad trade day stock take sale ,someone will walk out with something they didn't want and spew because thay paid to much.
In Past adminitrations l would have worried about sending them off with my credit card but with TW and GM I have no such concerns

Hasn't he just re-signed with Hawthorn ?

AFL should initiate a mandatory cooling off period. You can't make important decisions in the melting pot at the end of draft week. Better still, a warranty system. We would be up to our neck in warranty claims against other clubs :hihi
