Very short and minor.

Bulletpoint summary

- Profit announced today of $8.19 million, of course when you take our government money away that is a profit of just under $400K. 4th year of profit in a row for the tiges.

- Club meeting City of Melb next week to assumingly get their Building permit for Punt Rd, works to start in New Year.

- Couple of good leads for a missing co-sponsor. Tough market/times. He sounded very upbeat/confident though.

- We support the expansion, especially into Gold Coast, part of reason we are selling a game there. To concentrate on expanding our brand there before games being played there more regularly.

- Believes overall the expansion could very well "grow the pie" rather than leave more clubs squabbling for the same amount of pieces.

- Bit of a worry, the draft being compromised "but we are through most of our rebuild" fortunately, and it's a understood/accepted pain

- Craigeburn has 25, 000 people living in the estate they are moving into, hoping that will translate in greater supporter/member numbers, like gold coast, all little moves to try and increase membership as well as the other obvious benefits.

Sounds good.

(Did he mention the possibility of any Chimp merchandise ? I know the club's been inundated with requests by T74 and Freezer.)

We aren't appealing to the Christians enough,in my view. It's a massive untapped market. The Hillsong posse are huge;and loaded.

We badly need a plastic Tiger-Jesus.

How about this for the Christian crowd - proof that even Jesus is backing the Chimp

Care to elabotate a little? I asked my rellies from Craigieburn about the complex during the week. They told me it's in the posh new estate area of Craigieburn, Snob Hill they called it. If that's the case it's reasonable to hope the move will translate to greater member/supporter numbers. Maybe not from the parents now but the little kids growing up watching the Tiges train and mix in their community could well generate new support for the club.

The area has certainly grown Rosella to what it use to be.If you remember driving up the hume and the first hill you come across out of the old Craigieburn, its right upto there now with no doubt more scope[room] to grow right upto to Wallan ;D[Wont see it in our lifetime].
