Still giving us nothing...'cept Cups and Medals

Talk about giving us nothing, our own official Richmond Football Club website has been doing just that the last two weeks. Have you noticed that nearly all the articles are about the Women's team. I know they are currently in their season of football but this is just not on in my opinion. Most of us frequent the football club site seeking news on our men's team. It is the main and only reason we support our great football club and we are being starved of that at the moment. I'm not saying to report less on the AFLW, I'm just saying to produce more articles on our men's team.

They don't care anymore.
Richmond football dosent need a website. Everything & anything they do is in the printed media or on mainstream television.

They have 100k+ members and have double that waiting in the wings in the next 10 years
You cant even watch them train, you need to turn up when they call it "open session".
Success is great, but you lose the things you took for granted.

I can understand they are flat our re: AFLW but i have also noticed there are far less training vids this yr. Having said that the secrecy makes it harder for the oppo to find out things too.

We were the kings of the preseason bulid ups and then the ultimate capitulation.

The stkilda bulid up to this season is beyond a joke.
They need a good old slapping to bring back to earth.

There's still Men's AFL stories on the app, one about Higgins today, Dusty to play in the State of Origin.

It is off season, but in season for Women's AFL.

I also think it's been the most disappointing web communication for a number of years re info on the men's team.
I entirely understand there's a new female team the club is looking to promote but it's been at the expense of the usual info re the men's team's off season.
I don't think this is imagined.

Happy for all the other stragglers and strugglers to hog the media headlines and hype though.

I'd rather the Tigers turn up and slap the Blues with minimum fuss and fanfare, and get started on with the real business of 2020.

Dwayne Russell- cant listen to his show on SEN.
Heard what he had to say.
Thought i would give him a chance but his biased against the Tigers is there for ALL to hear now (especially me ).

Big mistake with SEN now. Hutchy is making mistakes with SEN surrounding the station with FOX Footy yes men, boys club types.

FWIW I agree that Cotchin is not on Pendlebury's level as a pure footballer, in the same way that Pendlebury can't touch Cotchin as a leader of men.

FWIW I agree that Cotchin is not on Pendlebury's level as a pure footballer, in the same way that Pendlebury can't touch Cotchin as a leader of men.

Not sure how correct that is. Cotch's game has changed over the last three years to be an absolute bull in the contested stuff, but looking further back he had plenty of class and skill on the outside. Even won a Brownlow while doing it.

Cotch's ability to play great footy inside and out puts him easily ahead of Pendelbury in my opinion.
