Its a disgrace that the AFL system has lead us to be even be debating this topic at all. Strangely it appears that all the media commentator believe that Carlton are tanking. Rightly or wrongly there is something wrong when we are even speculating about such behaviour.
If Richo was tanking then he did a good job at it, you know, by kicking that goal to put us in the LEAD and all...
Not sure how anyone can possibly think we tanked. Asserting that we tanked also asserts that we are good enough to turn skill and ability off and on. We lost to a team that has won 8 in a row against us with 6 of those 40 or higher point margins. We have won only 3 games for the year.
We lost a game today like so many before this year - close but ultimately not skilled or good enough.
The senior players were no different to a majority of games this year - Bowden a heap of it with some perplexing turnovers mixed with brilliant skill, Johnson absent, Richardson spasmodic - I saw hims chase hard for a 100 metres and force a ball in - Brown enigmatic with some quality finishing mixed with some misses, something he has done for his entire career.
Just another day at the Richmond office.

give me talented players who have the ability to win and then you will see success, does it gurantee a flag nothing in life is that clear but it sure makes it easier
