Sitting here (into my third Chivas and listening to Roy O) and reading the todays treads, it has struck me that we (supporters) have got to realise that the Tamblings, Lids, Foley, Polos and Raines's of this world have been trying their guts out all year, not just for themselves but for us, and we owe them the support they deserve. We all have to realise that drubbings are going to be part-and-parcel of this season and maybe next and we can only be there for them and support them until they become men, yes men, at the moment they are just boys playing a mans game. In 3-5 years time, I cannot wait to see these boys playing with an extra 10-15kg on their bodies running the lines and hitting leads. I read threads on this site asking if Lids is playing as good as he should F**king hell, he's only 18 years of age, we should have got Franklin instead of Tambling, Tambling is going to be a gun. Today at the game I saw so-called Richmond supporters walking out at 3/4 time, what is this saying to the kids "hey we like you but only when you are winning" . Lets wake-up supporters and stop getting on the kids backs and start supporting. Myself like most of us long suffering supporters long for the day we are a power again, it will happen but it is going to take time. . . I can wait, can u.

I don't think there's many on this site that blame the kids for our problems, Acker.  95% of the negative post are giving it with both barrels to the senior players.

i thought raines polo deleio were very good today and foley and tambling tried very hard. dont blame our kids for today. its the same old same old and as soon as the club makes some strong decisions the better we will be.

...... exactly Claw the kids are gonna wear down now that is to be expected as their output has been a major contributing factor to our improvement however they will be fatigued as will be Tuck and to an extent Simmo, it is the so called senior players that go missing time after time after time....................ad nauseum.

Agreed no-one is blaming the kids. If there is an underlining theme to these posts it's that we need more of them, that the rebuild is only partially complete at best, and that a lot more delistings and trades among the senior playing group need to be done.

i heard "lets support the Kids" - "wait for the kids" - "2 more years" comments since i was born 1983.....

im still waiting - pettifer was one of those kids, so was rodan oh and so was wayne campbell

Exactly.....and people question why I am not getting excited and thinking "positives" about Collins' first game, Rance and his handful of games, or Cotchin's debut last season.

Been there, seen it, done it all before......draftee after draftee.
