The Concise English Dictionary says...
SUPPORT.....
To hold up, to bear part of the weight of, to give power of resistance,
to enable to endure, to take side of; to defend, speak in favor of, to subscribe to,
etc, etc.

I know that good SUPPORTER crowds lift people and football teams.
WINNING OR LOSING, lets do show our best against Bloody Collingwood.

I think I mentioned before that the highlight of the Sydney game for me was the fantastic performance of the Tiger Army. I have never been privileged to sit so close to them before, but they were an inspiration to us all. Even the Sydney supporters were stopped in their tracks when their chants began. During the last quarter debacle, we were up on our feet proclaiming our love of the Tigers and it felt good to be part of it.

Normally, I am sitting in the MCC members at the MCG and the atmosphere is lacking. I really miss the enthusiasm of the Tiger faithful from the days when I was a regular standing behind the goals in the outer at the Punt Road oval.

I can't make it to the Collinwood game, but if I were there, I would certainly want to be sitting near passionate Tiger people to give my full support to our beloved team.

Thanks again to the wonderful Tiger Army!
