So we can expect newbies on this site soon.

Great.  All we need is more now-it-alls.

Us newbies are already arriving. Let me see if I can round up some (k)now-it-alls for you.

Damn, missed it TDogger, hope there is some way we can get a link or something. I'd like to hear what the Dogger sounds like ;D

they might even dilute the darksiders down a bit. ;D

This is the Richmond fan base your talking about Rosy?!

lol What we seem to do best (unfortunately) is look to the negative rather than the positive! lol

There was a short piece in the Canberra Sunday Times today as well. It said something along the lines that it could be a wise investment, as it will help fans feel justified at screaming abuse at their recruit from the stands.

Canberra Times Sunday November 13 2005

"PUNT ROAD PUNTERS CHIP IN"

Footy fans have been able to play the role of virtual coach or manager for a long time with online footy leagues. But fans of Richmond Tigers AFL club have taken their obsession to another level by forking out hard-earned to buy a real player. Upset by the club crying poor and deciding not to recruit a third rookie for next season PuntRoadEnd.com website asked permission to raise funds to pay for one themselves. The club gave its blessing and by this weekend the site had recorded more than $10,000 in pledges. A rookie reportedly earns about $35,000 so the supporters are well on the way there. It could be a wise investment for the fans if only to help them feel justified in screaming abuse at their recruit from the stands."

Great to see PRE in the national press - a real credit to you Rosy.

The last negative sentence is p-poor - he could have written - "It could be a wise investment for the fans as they scream from the stands their delight after watching their recruit slot the winning goal in the 2006 Grand Final."

go PRE - go you good thing....................RT

Thanks for posting that Remote.  :hearton

Isn't it nice to read  feel-good stuff about both PRE and RFC. :clap

I'm sure listeners on sport927 would like to hear the story too. Calling Mitho! ;D
