Seriously if the AFL hadn't poured countless millions into that team they would be consistently winning wooden spoons. : :

If the AFL financed The Tiges the same amt of money we would have won 5 flags in a row.

Notice how they avoid mentioning the days when Ch 7 had the rights and used to plant members of the H&A cast at the game so that they could point out that Sydney people really did support the club. They couldn't muster enough support to stay in Melbourne all those years ago and if they start losing then the supporters of the rest of the AFL clubs (the ones that actually get supporters turning up to the games and buying memberships) will have to bail them out again to support the AFL's dream of having a team in Sydney. They had the gall to mention the SOS campaign, too. If they ever had to start one of those to save the Swans they may as well say goodbye to the team, because they wouldn't be able to raise the money to save them, after all they couldn't raise what they needed nearly 30 years ago to keep the club down here, could they?
