Swans v Cats [Merged]

thats ok , least you didn't go out in public wearing a top inside out for about 5 hours without noticing it...

Who'd have thought Nick Davis could be such a hero. Only guy who looked like kicking them.

It's all academic, either will/would have got thumped by saints anyway.

that was one hell of a game. Easily the best i have ever seen, but hey im only 15.

Along with the Adelaide v Kangaroos game last year where a total of one goal was kicked in the 1st half, this was the worst game of football I've ever seen. Fair dinkum, it was like a game of Z Grade rugby. *smile* skills, disgraceful flooding, poor decision making, particularly from the Swans.

Granted the last 5-10 minutes were very exciting, but the Swans were extremely lucky to win IMO. They'll be lucky to get within 8 goals of St.Kilda and I for one will be happy to see them get flogged. Hate they're *smile* boring, flooding, scrappy style of football.

Haha Hymie I don't feel the least bit sorry for the Cats....I love it.  Onya Swannies. :clap
Have to agree,I'm happy for them as everyone in my family are South Melb supporters accept me so I have a soft spot for them.

Ok the Saints V Swans prelim will be played at the MCG. We beat the Swans there this year, a game where I nearly chewed all my fingernails to stumps. I'll be hoping that StKilda run the ball fast fast fast and show the football world how this great game is supposed to be played.

That's funny, my whole family barracks for the Saints & I absolutely hate them ( the Saints that is).
I only saw the second half, but I just loved the intensity & the tackling.
Nick Davis' last quarter, talk about a childhood dream come true, the only thing better would to do that in a Grand Final.

Well done Swannies!! :clap :clap Talk about a thriller final qtr. Overall a pretty ordinary and scrappy game though. Big Bazza had another shocker and has no leadership ability whatsoever IMO. He should never have been given captaincy for the finals, he simply can't cut it. As for the conditions, we were meant to get thunderstorms last night which never happened and they decided to put the sprinklers on at 4pm!! ::)

Must admit I felt sorry for the cats when I saw some of them crying. Hellova way to lose their chance. :'(
