Andrew Maher was just on Nova, and he is over in Ireland in Tadhg's home town.

He has been speaking with the locals and his relatives, and the story goes that Richmond were actually the first team to spot Tadhg, and Frawley went across to have a look, and Tadhg was basically begging Frawley to take him back to Australia on the next flight to play for Richmond.

Come on, can't have players with talent play for us during the 'dark ages' can we?

Seriously - its always going to be a huge gamble to bring back a player from Ireland. I'm sure Frawley et al weighed up the pros and cons and in the end couldn't find a spot for a player who knew nothing about the game - and would require extensive training about what the other players would require.

Huge gamble to put him on the rookie list for mimimal cash?? Just another example of potato heads ineptitude. Obviously overseas players are not part of the "recipe for premiership success". LMAO

Add a little Irish whiskey to the recipe for Premiership success Spudly!!!

Add another one to the Frawley file! :vomit

What a waste of 5 years, put us back 10 years with supa Spud. What were the RFC thinking when they hired a man who has been around a losing culture for nearly 2 decades. We hired a man who previously coached Collingwood 2nds to a wooden spoon.Losers breed losers, lets hope the bleeding has stopped.
Sorry guys I know Spud is in the past but @#&* me.

Its pretty simple, no-one else wanted to coach us back then

There is man on our coaching panel by the name Choco Royal who I was told had the gig but was changed to supa Spud(actually heard hush money was exchanged to keep Choco from splashing it all over the media) must have been Spuds cherry ripe closure that changed RFC mind :bash - Choco could have stuffed up too but who knows.
We Know the potatoe farmer didnt work
