All Richmond supporters I know were flabbergasted by the early re-signing of Hardwick. The generally feeling being God only knows why, but it's done now. My question is simply, what out clauses do we have to limit the financial damage when/if we have to terminate his contract early?

The club says it continually reviews its performance yet our on field performances have yet to put us beyond mid-table (no finals wins) under the current regime.
When will the club instigate an external review of its football operations, with the terms of that review laid out to the club's members?

Since Richmond broke away from Coburg in the VFL and began fielding it's own team, it's on field results have been poor, finishing 12th in 2014, 13th in 2015 (behind Coburg), and currently sitting in 13th (again behind Coburg) in 2016. While in that same time, the Bulldogs began fielding their own VFL team, and won the premiership in their first year, featured in finals the year after, and look likely to feature again this year.
What have been the issues with the Richmond VFL team with regards to on field performance, considering another AFL team has had much more success in the VFL in the same time frame?
And
Given that Coburg's results have been overall better than Richmond's since the split, what has been the benefit of leaving a VFL affiliate team, and forming a stand alone VFL team?

We've been good at retaining players but poor at attracting top talent. The effort has been there, but players like Treloar and Tyson have elected to move to clubs lower on the ladder than us, so I'd ask: "Despite our self-proclaimed 'war chest', why has top-end talent chased by Richmond chosen to be traded to other clubs instead?"

At the Tassie North game the camera kept panning to Penny and Benny. So they at least saw one of our worst performances for the year. Hope they know that game style is what DH has served up all year.
