Taking questions for President Peggy O’Neal

Peggy are you good mates with the Hawthirn president?
If so let's merge. It might be the only way will see any success

Damien Hardwick is a fantastic rebuild coach. Peggy, how hopeful are you that the club can secure his services for the new rebuild?

No offence nq, but that has been answered 43 times. But, good luck on getting your question picked.

But Toby's answers don't count do they?

Hi Peggy,

Taking the view the club is in full support of Dimma and will continue his services, would you consider hiring Bomber Thompson in a development/assistant role to support Dimma moving forward and better development of players. He is available.

Dear Peggy:

If I'm driving my car at the speed of light and I turn my headlamps on, will they work?

I would have liked to hear an answer to this. Its got me buggered

No, they wont

If they're sealed beam, I reckon they'd come on. You might be going faster than the speed of light, but there will still be light, right? you don't outrun all light, you'd be catching up to some as well? :help

Nope. To see light it needs to travel to you. At the speed of light they can't pull away from the sealed beam to create light.

Let me try that another way. At the speed of light your highbeams would effectively be stationary, hence no light

they wouldn't come on but not throw a beam?

Your bulbs will heat up etc, but there would be no light as such.

But if your car were see through and I was travelling behind you, I'd be blinded by the amount of light hitting me.

Thats what I was thinking, so that means they can or do come on, but no beam in front? See-through car is a good one.
