Jayden the brickie who drives his ute to work voted for Morrison last time in the seat of Deakin in melbourne’s eastern burbs. Shorten seemed fake and ScoMo like one of the boys. Daggy but knockabout.
This time round, too much has been exposed for history to repeat. ScoMo doesn’t hold a hose, nor does he seem to care that Jayden’s grandmother - in a care home - was out at grave risk of contracting COVID.
Jayden thinks the libs are good for the economy and probably good for foreign relations, particularly when it comes to China.
It wasn’t great that Albo forgot unemployment rates, but he seems like a more straight up guy.
Jayden has voted Labor once or twice, usually when he’s had a gutful of the incumbent PM. His foreman reckons Labor is good with unions too.
Stuff it. Albo this time. Let’s see how he goes.

dont forget our deputy PM, Barnaby Joyce.- he is the one who runs the country when Morrison ducks off to Hawaii when there is a national emergency.
Barnaby has been around - wasn't he out and about announcing $1.5billion for Darwin Port had already been legislated (it hasn't) and anyway, why the $1.5billion subsidy to fossil fuel exports anyway?

Just to clarify, is that the same Darwin Port that was leased to a Chinese company for 99years by an LNP NT government under the watch of the current Liberal federal government?
Nah, they are building another one, next to the Chinese one. They realised that having an Australian owned port at the top end of Australia closer to our trading partners could come in handy. Visionaries.

That’s laughable, they sell the Darwin port to China, don’t disclose to the US that by signing a nuclear sub deal with the US and Uk that they will be reneging on the French Submarine deal.
They’ve cut foreign aid over their last 3 governments which has weakened our alliances in the Pacific which has allowed China to worm there way in.

Yep, remember the old school righties on here complaining about foreign aid. Soft power kids. Now China has done a deal with the Solomons to built a port there - and chief clowns Morrison and Payne had no idea a deal was being done until the public announcement.
Yep, so infect the Liberals have made Australia less secure, if the Solomons deal does go ahead.
