to generalise, people with disabilities, and their families, dont want admiration, they dont want sympathy. they want the chance and support to achieve whatever they want to achieve.Blessed is probably where he stepped over the mark. But I'm sorry, I don't think the rest of it is saying anything that denigrates the disabled. You can have a huge amount of admiration for the way those with disabilities can overcome their challenges and make massive successes of their lives, and still be grateful that your children don't have to face those challenges in their lives.
this government, and Morrison in particular is big on "sympathy" but he isnt interested in supporting people.
and he, and his government, fail to understand the economics of the NDIS. They talk about the cost "burden" but ignore, or dont understand, the economic benefits the scheme provides.
