Talking Politics

Of course, Somyurek is entirely innocent the leaked findings of IBAC are just a fiction.
Umm! No, he's just one of a whole dirty bunch of rotten pollies, n he's barely had his toes nibbled upon for his efforts. If it's supposed to be some sort of fancy anti corruption commission then perhaps they should run all investigations publicly so that people know exactly what was or wasn't going on. Either that or do the whole lot in house on the quiet until they make a finding. Half n half for a certain privileged few is simply *smile*.

You need to cut back on your intake of the Herald Sun

EDIT Baloo already used that line.

No worries TM, I'm sure when you cast your vote for your local LNP member you can console yourself with the "they are all the same so why do anything different" line.
Already cast my vote by mail a few days ago. Sent them back a blank sheet of paper as I've been doing for years. Haven't seen or heard a pollie or party that I'd consider worthy of a vote in ages.

Maybe instead of complaining to us about how worthless all pollies are and how nothing can be done about anything, maybe you could write it all down on that blank bit of paper and send it to them directly.

Only thing you're allowed to write on that pretty little piece of paper is the numbers of who you like. I don't particularly like any of them n if I wasted my time writing that on the bit of paper they'd only bin it anyway because I didn't write numbers. Surely you're aware of this factor?

Question remains though as to why some are grilled publicly by IBAC but then when it comes to the grand poobah it's all done by stealth with a nice cup of tea n a bikkie to make sure he's all cosy n comfortable.

IBAC will produce a report which will provide details of why he was called and what questions he was answered.

If IBAC finds he acted criminally then he will be investigated and charged.

Well, why don't you stand?

You can develop policies and present them to the voting public and see how you go.

Of course, whoever you vote for, the government gets in. Until we get a better system the best thing is to get a better government.

People who don't vote should shut up about politics, politicians & The state of the country.

If you don't vote you don't count.

Latest showed 50/50. This is close to a hung parliament so far. Neither can gain an edge.

Channel 9 have been credibly accused of rigging the online voting system, and have been caught out on their own feed reversing the actual results. And you think that both sides are as bad as each other? You suggest that the leaders are going out for beers together after the debate like its some sort of stitch up?
