Talking Politics

You'd hope. Doubt they're a threat to win seats. But they might preference the pricks in marginals Labor is trying to pick up.

Yep, all that crap about how they hate both the LNP and Labor, yet their preferences are going to the LNP in marginals. Palmer trying to get the LNP over the line for a second successive election. What's his pay off this time? Last time it was approving a mine or paying for a railway line wasn't it?

The UAP are so full of sh!t, claims they will put a cap on interest rates? Yeah, how? You going to pay the difference, from where, taxpayers money? Complete joke policies.

And that we are going to hand our health system over to the WHO

Happy Election Day. Voting teal today. Albo will be PM tonight and it will be by a majority (I have bet on this).

Looking for an anti corruption body to be set up in first 100 days Albo has in Government.

Corruption for me is the biggest issue, hence my vote.

I’m hoping for another change in Government come November as well.

I expect Albo to be PM but not tonight. I’m tipping it will be a minority labor government which I actually don’t mind.

A bit of pressure from outside the Labor Caucus from the greens and the teals is a good thing imo

Hoping someone gets to win the big erection today.
Got me a horrible feeling that it's gunna take another week of singin, dancin n count backs before they sort out all the near misses n someone cobbles together enough toadies to form a govt.

surely this is irrelevant for you given they are all the same

I would kind of agree, except it increases the chances of the Libs getting back in next time when they should be wiped out for a decade.

Thank Christ the campaign is over. Its been a disgrace. The media has been abysmal, woeful, terrible. Refuse to hold Morrison to account for his lies and stuff ups. Albanese has had to jump at shadows because thats just how the dice are loaded. If the media even made an effort to report substantive policy issues truthfully based on national interest the Government wouldn't stand a snowflake's chance in hell.

Surely there aren't that many anti-vaxxers. I can't imagine there are more than 1% of the population
I remember seeing some figures a while ago, between 6 and 10% vax hesitancy, depending on state, and 1 and 2.5% hardcore nutcase antivax. I think those hesitancy figures went down substantially though.

Christ, there are some stupid people.
Its largely by design. Coalition has neglected public education and gutted Uni funding since Howard as well as fostered Murdoch media and kneecapped the ABC. Year after year our education attainment levels drop. The more stupid people the better as far as they're concerned.

Massive plunge. Labor into $1.30 to win government, $1.60 to form majority.

Wonder how much of that money is coming from Liberal pollies/pollsters. We know Dave Sharma loves a bit of insider trading.

It's going to be fun watching the LNP turn on Morrison and completely tear him apart if he loses. They hate him with a passion.

They won't get the chance. He'll cut and run like the coward he is. They'll tear him apart if they manage a hung parliament. They can't win.

Yep. Majority Labor odds tightening right up.

Surely with so much early voting there’d be strong indications.

They'll tear him apart regardless if he runs or not. We'll be hearing ScoMo stories for a year or so I reckon.
