No Trump supporter....but........
The use of chemical poison gas on innocent people in Syria is disgusting!
Time to stand up to disgusting bullys who have no care for honest innocent people.
Happy with the stand the US has taken and hope Assad is gone soon.
No reason to tolerate disgusting people like that amongst the human race.
Eventually those vile people have be stood up to.
What follows will be, but enough.

You've got some solid evidence that Assad attacked his own people with chemical weapons I assume, and can point out how it has anything to do with the safety of the US?

Russia Syria claiming chemical release due to syrian airstrikes on a rebel warehouse stockpiling chemical weapons. Who knows, however no motive for asaad to use chemical weapons - he was winning the war against the rebels. nothing to gain.

CNN praising trump saying he has now become president of the US. Surprise surprise

The fact that he has done it before? Nothing to do with the U.S. but it hasn't seemed up to now that anyone had the stomach for any serious intervention in Syria.

I don't doubt Assad used the weapons, Russian and Syrian explanation just laughable.
Nothing to do with US at all, correct, all to do with compassionate human behaviour, or whatever term you want.
Happy if any country had done the same including this one.
Otherwise, let's just let the vile people run this world keeping the human race in misery shall we?

Nope, a Guardian reporter went to the area. There was no warehouse. There was a shell crater in the road. The only buildings in the area were not significantly damaged in any case and contained only soils and seeds. Survivors and an aircraft spotter on a nearby hill said that the fax came from a bomb dropped by a plane.

So why would the Russians be lying about this? Allied to Syria, duh.... Unless of course you want to fall back on the usual trope of the MSM making it all up to cover a false flag operation.

Most likely explanation is that someone in the Syrian military *smile* up. Cos you know, the military ID all countries do that pretty regularly.

No doubt the alternative right tin foil hat brigade will add it to 9/11, moon landings, Benghazi and JFK conspiracy collection though , cos those guys know so much about Syria and the Middle East. Facts don't matter to these morons.

You forgot the iraq WMD conspiracy.

That one I'll give you but actually it was the Left, the Right and Hans BlIx who told us that was a conspiracy before it even happened.

If you have evidence that the gas attack was a false flag present it here.

Regardless of whether assad did it or not trump should not be launching air strikes. Such actions should go through the UN. Trump said he's not the president of the world just a few days ago.

Agree on that Harry, but Trump's a knee-jerk populist. He doesn't care about what's right, only about how it makes him look.

Interesting that you think the false flag argument is where the burden of proof lies. Show us the evidence that Assad bombed civilians with chemical weapons. Without it the false flag argument will continue to be the most likely possibility just like Iraq 2003.

If it was an accident then the US bombings are not justifiable.

An accident in the sense of a strategic miscalculation, not in the sense of pressing the wrong button oops.

By the the way, I agree that launching missiles is a typical half-assed meaningless intervention that does nothing good except soothe Trump's hurt feelings. Doesn't do a whole lot for the Syrian population suffering in this civil war.

Like, God or Aliens, False Flag is NEVER the "most likely" explanation. Most likely is a statement about probability. So to make that claim you'd need good stats to back it up.

It is when you take means motive and opportunity into account.

Interesting that the attack happened days after Tillerson said they would not look for regime change and Assads fate would be determined by the Syrian people.

Sure it is, iif you discount what the journalist who went there discovered and what the victims and survivors said.

But then again facts don't really matter to the alt-right and the tinfoilers when there is a theory that vibes with your nutty world view.
