"I pull you close, run my strong hands down your back, softly kiss your neck and whisper, "He's kicked three goals in a Grand Final, Jack Graham that is."

Superb work by Simon Wallace on Twitter.

Yep, this is a sign of things to come, the ruling elite cannot contain the masses indefinitely. Some good lessons from the South Africa experience, the whites were always up against it once the numbers tilted to unsustainable levels, now roles have been reversed and they are the persecuted, happens with monotonous regularity.

Some big changes occurring throughout the world, the most vulnerable country is America given they have 300 million firearms they have to contain. The hardest wars to contain are those from within, there's no template for guerrilla warfare.

Wowsers! If Bob Brown is considered too moderate and sensible, how far left are must the the lunatics in the NSW Greens be? :o

Bob Brown says he was shut out of an independent review into the NSW Greens because he was “too moderate”, as controversial state MP Jeremy Buckingham labelled the attempt to broker peace as a “Band-Aid on a weeping wound”.

On Tuesday night, the Australian Greens and their state counterparts agreed on a review into the NSW branch’s decision-making and complaints processes, after a factional war was ignited over calls for Mr Buckingham to stand aside due to allegations of sexual misconduct.

The terms of reference will be drawn up by a panel including an “Australian Greens elder”. But that will not be the party’s most famous leader, Dr Brown.

“No, I’m not on the panel. I was considered too moderate and considerate for the Left,” he told The Australian yesterday.

“It’s essential we have this review and that it have strong teeth … And its recommendations must be put to the members of the NSW Greens.

“The one thing the red NSW Greens have always blocked is grassroots democracy.”

The Australian understands an “elder” has not been chosen and it will be a long-term staff member, not a politician.

Australian Greens leader Richard Di Natale said the review would help refocus the party on the NSW election next March. “This significant response is an opportunity for a constructive resolution to the issues in NSW so that we can refocus on our mission,” he said.

Mr Buckingham was asked to stand aside from the NSW Greens upper house ticket earlier this month due to allegations against him. He has denied the allegations and was cleared of wrongdoing in an independent investigation by firm Workdynamic Australia.

He told The Australian yesterday the NSW Greens were “rotten and corrupt”. “It’s a Band-Aid on a weeping wound that is the rotten and corrupt NSW Greens party. This type of review happened only a few years ago and resulted in virtually no reform,” he said. “The resolution does not deal with the immediate issues of the party refusing to conduct a democratic recount should I leave the Greens ticket, and capitulates to the extreme Left who are running riot.”

But his supporters, Greens MPs Cate Faehrmann and Justin Field, backed the review yesterday after previously threatening to split from the state party over the treatment of Mr Buckingham.

“We believe this is a critical first step to resolving some of the issues that have been called out recently by ourselves and many members,” they said in a joint statement.

PT that is very alarming to read that. What are they really standing for?

They have direct quotes from Bob Brown. Don’t you find his comments interesting? What are their beliefs and purpose?

The issues that the Greens have had with the NSW branch are not new and have been highlighted a few times in programs on the ABC over the last year or so.

Not that the greens had much credibility, but they lost all credibility when they refused to support the Emission trading Scheme for political reasons, ie up coming election. Then when they won more seats/senators which is what they were hoping for, they then said they'd only give support to Gillard, allowing her to form government if she brought in a Carbon Tax. I hope they continue to be more and more irrelevant.

as i said i am not defending the greens, but the article contained a few quotes with little context from the guy, Brown, who is unhappy he missed a spot on the panel, with no mention of who is on the panel.
the crux of the article may be correct but i would be using it as evidence without back-up.

they got about 10% of the votes in both houses in the last federal election. i am not sure that makes them irrelevant.

They need a name change. Not really Green anymore. Just another limited choice in our current election platform!

Peter Dutton reminds us once again that he is not much sharper than the billiard ball he so closely resembles.

Did his sponsors from the Murdoch stable put him up for this latest attack on the Liberal party moderates or did he think it up all by himself?

The inability of the Libs to read the public sentiment is mind boggling. I can't remember another time when one of the two major parties was so out of sync with the large majority of the population.

They must really believe Alan Jones when he says he represents the silent majority.

I just don’t know Dutton chose to do that interview and remind Australians of the mess that was the overthrow of Turnbull.
