How about a law that mandates that the PM and Treasurer are disqualified from Parliament if the budget figures promised during an election campaign vary from (say) 10% from the actual figures.

How about coaches or Presidents who say we are top 4 / top 8 this year and finish 14th?

I reckon there is a fair difference between 'practising' a religion and 'promoting' a religion. IMO Folau was 100% doing the second for the purpose of getting people to move to follow said religion.

Sadly, our electorate is not homogeneous. We have some who reckon we are killing the planet, others who just want to pay less for their emergy and another group that wants their pay to keep up with CPI. Hitching a wagon to one of these issues is of course going to come at the cost of other issues. Hence, I would prefer that my local member listened to this stuff, but has the ability to synthesise it into something meaningful in terms of policy.

Bob Hawke, when questioned on Tony Abbott actually said, on a personal level he really liked him, found him a nice, personable bloke. But as a politician, found him as mad as a cut snake and said no one could predict what he was going to say next!

I know most around here want Abbott out and I don’t care much for him either. But attacks like this are a disgrace. More footage is doing the rounds show Liberal voting material getting defaced. It’s time Labor got Get Up to pull their head in and control their antics.

I don’t collect how to vote cards. As I know what I want and I will preference to my choosing. But volunteers of all backgrounds and beliefs should be able to hand out the cards to feel safe. Also an ironic thing I noticed yesterday when voting was that the Greens how to vote card was the largest. So that’s a great message for the environment.

It's got nothing to do with GetUp. Abbott and the Libtards have been trying to smear GetUp because they can't hack that a volunteer organisation has a better grasp of the issues and is a more effective campaigner than their out of touch arses.
