America's preoccupation with Iran is nothing new, in fact US administrations since Reagan in 1980 have been talking about regime change in Iran.Bringing down the airliner was terrible, what a mess, surely they could have communicated the flight times and details of the civilian flights to their military no matter how nervous they were. Negligence in the extreme, no excuse.
I do wonder a bit in relation to Iran. While ISIS was running around were Iran (Shi-ite and therefore not supportive of a caliphate) given a bit more leeway as I'm sure Iran would not have been happy having ISIS in control of various parts of the region.
Trump has no clue, but then again neither did Bush Jr. If you want to start messing around with regimes in other countries FFS have some sort of plan for winning the peace or some sort of strategy and end goal in mind. No idea what they thought they would achieve by killing the General.
The neoconservative factions in Washington have been itching to get at Iran for a long time.
This assassination of the general was not some haphazard ill conceived action. Trump knows exactly what he is doing and I believe he has a plan to bring the Iranian regime to its knees, after which it is expected that the Iranian people will rise up with a viable opposition and overthrow this fascist theocracy.
All things considered, Soleimani was a murderous C##T and Im glad he has gone to meet his maker!!
