Talking Politics

Back to the 50's where we need to rely on vague similes of what they are trying to say instead of just coming out and saying it.

What a complete joke this "advertising campaign" is.

It's embarassing. They can't even use the word sex on a sex education video.

This government wouldn’t pay 10 times the value of something, would they?
I wonder if the ad agency is owned by a liberal party donor...

The Libs have announced about $500M in spending to develop "low emissions energy production" reductions, that no environmentalist thinks will actually do anything.
the one saving grace is that it will probably end up not spent like most Morrison announcements.

that just means $300m invested in LNP held electorates with small margins, $100m to a think tank with an all coal and gas board, and a $100m grant to Twiggy to develop his hydrogen plant

His 480,000 subscribers would disagree. As do I. He's gunning to get more viewers than Channel 7's nightly news.
I too am one of his subscribers, but I struggle to concentrate. He is obviously well researched and passinionate, but his silly jokes distract from the valid points that he makes. He does seem to have connections inside the ALP and in canberra. I mean he even got into NSW deputy premier's house!!!

I agree on the ammunition the ALP have, what they need is a leader with some talent. He made some comment the other day about the vaccination mess and included a reference to a cola plant or something and it really sums him up - it was woeful when he should have laid a direct hit on the government.

Albo has to go.

As for the guy looking like an ALP hack, believe me, he looks like an ALP hack from central casting, he screams ALP hack to anyone who had to deal with their type at uni. Anyway, who else would wear a Jack Lang T Shirt?

DS
Agree with much of this. Jack Lang was actually anti-communist and a white Aust policy supporter late in his career. Not sure how well that aligns with Jordies politics.

Jordie reminds me of another smug, self-indulgent media performer Charlie Pickering.

Lots of people lose the plot when they get old, doesn't negate what they did earlier in life.

Hehe that's what Libs say about Malcolm Fraser

Malcolm Fraser's politics didn't shift, he was a conservative. What shifted was the political agenda.

What is considered centre today was raving lunatic right wing a few decades ago.

We've been going backwards for decades.

Morrison recently made a speech about climate change, where he whinged about people sitting in wine bars discussing climate change - cos clearly only those real australians who live in the bush know about climate change. he made the speech in a wine bar.
