Talking Politics

Jeez Angus Taylor and his family have a real talent for getting Government grants.

John Barilaro is the new Eddie Obeid.

Until we reform our political system, or start voting for each other, in an informed manner,

Also until we get a decent media.

Looking forward to hearing how Morrison put Biden in his place about climate change, I wonder whether he took his pet lump of coal to the G7 Summit.

Can anyone confirm how much the fantastic financial managers wasted on Robodebt? I believe the settlement was $1.8billion, but a lot of that was paying back money they wrongly took off poor and marginalised people.
But i think about $1b or so we just wasted on compo and legal costs?

Absolute disgrace, but no surprise from this mob.
Anyone who votes for the Libs at the next election is saying the deaths and trauma and wasted money doesnt matter.

Unfortunately Australia appears to have become very insular & uncaring as a society in recent years. I'm not at all confident about the Libs getting voted out.
Where's the *smile* alternative, right now i'd even vote for Bucks if he put his hand up

perhaps the party that had Australia running one of the best economies in the world, less than 10 years ago, while establishing the NDIS (one of the true policy reforms in recent years that has made a positive material difference to people's lives), and not establishing robodebt (one of the true policy reforms in recent years that has made a negative material difference to people's lives), and generally being more decent that the current mob.

i am not sure how that is hard choice.

how does our acting PM McCormack figure this out?

“It (Coal) pays for a lot of barista machines that produces the coffee that inner-city people sit and talk about the death of coal,” the acting prime minister said.

How does it? Do cafes get their baristas out of machines provided by coal companies?

Acting PM. yay
