I’m predicting serious gains to Labor in the election. Enough to win and then some.
You look at the Coalition front bench and you see why they cannot possibly won enough hearts in future elections, even in this strange post-Trump world.

The Libs are in trouble in WA, VIC, QLD and have waning stocks elsewhere.
Despite the media control, the horrific culture, all the gaslighting, this party cannot conceal its lack of talent.
In hindsight you have to begrudgingly concede that the likes of Costello, Howard, etc were much better politicians.

Last night I decided not to watch a movie and instead have a look at Question Time from the previous day. I wanted to see ‘sit down, boofhead’ in it’s contextual glory.
What struck me most is how fierce the hatred between Albo and Dutton is. You could see Albo winding this guy up at every opportunity.
Dutton came across like the guy who got bullied at school and tried to hit back with one-liners that just didn’t hit. The big guy who’d try to match the sarcastic tit-for-tat but had neither the wit or the cool factor. It was fascinating to watch.
My overall impression was that Labor have by far - by far - the smartest people in that chamber. Especially with Turnbull gone.
The cupboard is literally bare. You can’t get by on gaslighting, boorish behaviour alone.
The Coalition are just a bunch of private school boofheads and hillbillies.
Little wonder that parliament is the last place this government wants to be.
